Name: Caryssa McKeon Position: Spirit Publicity Coordinator Date: September 4, 2019 Position Assessment: Katelyn and I have been working hard on the Pride Tribe shirts and this year we decided to change it up and make some long sleeve versions as well that are doing good but we can do better sales wise. We have been doing spirit counts and I have ordered a lot of candy and went to Smart and Final to pick some up as well. Standing Committee: We will be selling shirts tonight at the volleyball game as well as during lunch today and tomorrow. Our goal is to sell all of our shirts by the end of the year and we are making some profit off of them as well. I have been chatting with Mrs. Pendleton a lot regarding Pride Tribe and what we are going to do with it. We plan on having a meeting soon with everyone who would like to be apart of the club. Special Committee: My special committee was the balloon arch over the summer, when myself and a few other helpers taught the Ripon Elementary Link Crew girls how to build a balloon arch. It was actually kind of fun and cute teaching them how to do it. Concern: Honestly, I do not have any main concerns regarding this class, but if I had to name one it would be the class participation during discussions regarding events. Positive Comment: I am excited that we are doing more teaching lessons with Mrs. Mortensen rather than events all the time. I am excited to read the book and talk about it as a class and I really think it will be beneficial for our class. One change I would like to see: I would like to see more publicity around campus and communication with our teachers to send messages out to the student body rather than just social media posts. I think posters and classroom announcements will be more beneficial because you are guaranteeing the students attention and teaching out to all types of students, not just the ones on social media. My Impact: Along with encouraging the students to participate in school events, I have been very conscious about cleaning up around campus. I try to pick up trash and tell others to grab it as well whenever I see any.

Position Assessment: we have been doing a lot of spirit counts and have bought a lot of candy. Since it is easier to use the Costco card, Morty and or myself will go and purchase candy rather than ordering it on amazon. I also helped with homecoming as much as I could, obviously with my senior class. Float decorating, skit practice and of course I went to all the events for homecoming as well. Standing Committee: My standing committee is Pride Tribe, thus far Katelyn and I have been selling Pride Tribe t shirts whenever there has been a big game or on spirit days. We have been able to gain credit card access which is really good because more parents can purchase them. Unfortunately we still have a lot of shirts left, but we are going to continue to sell them throughout basketball season and throughput the rest of the year, we are planning on putting some in the student store to sell as well. Whatever is left over will be sold at next years POW WOW. Special Committee: I am apart of the Gratitude and Beautiful Movement and the Fall sports senior night committee. I took a video of Danny Hernandez and it was added into the video that we are going to show during Dude Be Nice week. I haven’t been able to help with senior nights for other sports because I have had volleyball, but I have helped Natalie with rosters and whatnot. Concerns: A concern I have is the lack of collaboration within the class. We are all individuals and not very many of us are working together, I think we need a “come back to earth” moment and everyone put a pause on their busy lives to just sit and talk. To talk to each other and reestablish any bonds that have been broken along the way. Positive Comments: A positive comment is that homecoming was fantastic! It was extremely competitive and super fun to be apart of. Each class really did go all out and I hope it stays this way for awhile because it makes it more fun and exciting to participate in. Change: One change I would like to see is the class culture. I am not sure if it is just me, but the whole vibe and presence of the class isn’t holistic and it feels very segregated. I would like to see more participation from the class and not so much as individuals. My Impact: My impact is trying to be a better person and just trying to be more positive because I have been struggling the past month just mentally and emotionally. By me being more positive I am not only helping myself but I can possibly prevent others from feeling the way I have been feeling because it is actually very miserable. I also hope no one ever feels the way that I have been feeling, especially those who are close to me.

Position Assessment: Katelyn and I have been working on planning out the themed games and prizes for basketball season since football is over. We just recently sold around 12-15 shirts at the state football game and we are planning on continuing to sell the shirts at basketball games, both boys and girls. We have been working on our spirit counts during spirit days and or weeks. We also just recently put in a PO for candy that Morty just bought last week. We don’t really have anything that big going and we are each helping out with our classes and stuff in class as a whole. Standing Committee: Our standing committee is Pride Tribe and like I said above we sold shirts at the football game and we are selling them at the upcoming basketball games. We are planning on making some themed spirit games such as a neon game or a red/white/black out. We have a request typed out to ask our Ripon Booster’s club to donate gift cards to hand out as rewards. Special Committee: Our most recent special committee is the CASL paragraphs that we worked on in groups. We also had the door decorating committee that we did last Wednesday. My group precut all our materials and we’re ready to go. We divided up and did two doors at once and it was really productive. Concerns: A concern that I have is that we will not be ready for winterfest when we get back from break. Positive Comments: A positive comment is that our presentation for Central Valley High School went really well and they were really grateful for us providing them with that information. It was also a good lesson for us about professionalism. Change: One change I would like to see is more check ins and reflexions on each other. We are always busy doing things and never really check in with how we are doing personally. My Impact: My impact recently has been spreading more spirit throughout our school and just making it a more fun and spirited environment.
ASB Formal Meeting Position Assessment: Katelyn and I sold shirts at the big basketball games and we actually sold a decent amount. We also sold some at the wrestling match. We have been working on our spirit counts during spirit days and or weeks obviously. Morty just recently bought more candy but I will probably put another PO in to but more candy. We don’t really have anything that big going and we are each helping out with our classes and stuff in class as a whole. We have jamba juice in the next month or so but haven’t necessarily started planning that. Standing Committee: Our standing committee is Pride Tribe and like I said above we sold shirts at the football game and we are selling them at the upcoming basketball games. I went to the pride tribe meeting that Mrs. Pendleton had and just talked about cheers and spirit at basketball games. Special Committee: Our most recent special committee was the Valentines hearts that everyone seems to live so much and it has a really strong impact on the student body. They really make the student body happy!! Concerns: A concern that I have is that we will not be ready for all of our Spring events and get overwhelmed. Positive Comments: A positive comment is that the hearts we made turned out super cute and everyone seemed to love them!! Change: One change I would like to see is more check ins and reflexions on each other. We are always busy doing things and never really check in with how we are doing personally. My Impact: My impact recently has been spreading more spirit throughout our school and just making it a more fun and spirited environment, especially at basketball games.
