Attendance: Absent - Alyssa Jones
Report; Carmen Simon - ASB President:
Should’ve planned ahead better and donated leftover food from tri-tip to the homeless or another cause.
Report; Niki Nguyen - ASB Vice President:
Holiday door decorations cleaned up nicely and everyone showed up. Should use cheap supplies next year. Teachers enjoyed the door decorations.
ASB and Sacred Heart’s canned food drive didn't go through, so we hope to execute it next year.
Report; Gianna Brochinni - ASB Board Member:
ASB helped the Dude Be Nice Committee, and the event was successful.
Warm and Fuzzy week was great this year. Certain individuals followed through well within Senate which is appreciated.
Report; Kate Villegas - ASB Administrative Coordinator:
Amazon orders for Tri-Tip Ticket Sales are being ordered tonight by Morty. It took a while to get everyone’s orders.
Holiday Door Decorations were successful, but we should buy cheaper wrapping paper and ribbon (maybe tool instead) next year because the more pricey supplies didn’t make a difference.
Report; Ana Perez - Senior Class President:
Holiday tree competition was successful.
The seniors plan on incorporating basketball into Winterfest week. Senior class does not have cart for Winterfest yet.
Senior class reserved their window for the window decorating competition.
Report; Gabriel Herrera - Junior Class President:
Did the tree decoration for the Holiday Night Rally. Tree decoration was cheap because the class wants to save money.
Junior class has their cart for Winterfest reserved.
Budget: $6,041.45
Report; Naomi Wilbur - Sophomore Class President:
Formal was successful, and the class of 2022 made about $5,200.
Sophomore class has ordered their spirit supplies for winterfest. Bryan is picking up the cart this week.
Budget: $10,821.17
Report; Jaydin Kroutil - Freshman Representative:
Freshmen have had Homecoming, the Halloween dance, the Holiday Tree Competition so far this year, and Winterfest and Matchomatics are now approaching.
They know what their plans are for Winterfest, and need to order their supplies ASAP.
Ordered basketballs for Winterfest, ordering Black-Out shirts, cut out red circles for the Yearbook Rally.
Enjoyed the Holiday Door Decorations this year. Bryan did a good job leading their group. Thinks that we should have underclassmen in charge of/responsible for committees more often.
Is figuring out what the leadership application will consist of for her position for next year.
Report; Brendan Lan - Club Committee Chair:
Had a meeting with the clubs for the Holiday Tree Competition.
Talent Show auditions were good. Felver, Morty and him have set a callback date. Decided on a movie night theme for the Talent Show to coincide with the Winterfest theme for this year.
Wrote a letter to Boosters to ask for gift cards for spirit.
Morty restocked on candy for Winterfest spirit counts.
Molly got the spirit board updated for the first semester.
Sold Pride Tribe shirts at the state football game championship and sold around 12.
Report; Elias Herrera & Darius Rubianes - Technology Commissioners:
Since the last meeting have worked on the Gratitude Video, Dude Be Nice Video, and the Yearbook Rally Theme Reveal Video.
Did the tech for the Holiday Night Rally and for the Yearbook Rally.
Have been filming all throughout the year for the End of the School Year Video and have gotten live videos of each sport.
Report; Kassidy Isham & Jaynell Mora - Public Relations Commissioners:
Restocked the storage room for Winterfest.
Did Ace of the Month, and Bryce received the award for this month. Have to get started on the Ace of the Month for January.
Couldn't do counts for spirit last week because of the presentation on our A-G approved course. We need to plan ahead of time more efficiently and fit spirit counts into our schedule no matter what we have to do in class.
Content with how the Holiday Night Rally went. K Club didn't communicate clearly enough that they couldn't make it to the rally for their performance. Students liked video game segment of the rally. Overall was a rally with a relaxed environment and provided for personal bonding.
Presentation on Our A-G Approved Course:
The presentation was great and the three advisors from the other high school thought the presentation was impressive and professional.
The advisors now realize that they have to make changes to their program because they don't have any underclassmen in their program and don't have a constitution.

01/10/20: Position Absorption and Removal for 2020-2021 Leadership Year:
Ana Perez: If the ASB President is on court, should they be in charge of coronation? The ASB President is almost always on court, so when will they actually be able to manage coronation?
Historian should manage Coronation because they do not have enough going on in the first semester.
The ASB VP should manage Coronation.
Brendan Lan: Should we start a committee for coronation management instead of having the ASB President in charge?
Carmen Simon: Coronation would be a good responsibility for Historian.
Niki Nguyen: Giving Historians the opportunity to manage Coronation would be a good idea so that they can show their skills.
Do the Spirit Commissioners have enough responsibilities?
Laila Irigoyen: There is always someone to help with Coronation since we form a committee.
Morty: Historian should have a year of previous experience in the program if they are held responsible for Coronation since experience is needed. ASB should not manage Coronation as a team because of how the Tri-Tip Fundraiser went this year.
Caryssa McKeon: Spirit Commissioners should manage Coronation because it fits in with their job description well.
Gabriel Herrera: The position managing Coronation shouldn’t need to have one year of experience in the Leadership program requirement. This is similar to the Freshmen entering Leadership completely blind sighted.
Kate Villegas: Someone in ASB should manage Coronation. The ASB Team should have more to manage. We need new people in Leadership, so we shouldn’t add a year of experience requirement to the Historian position.
Natalie Betoshana: There should only be commissioners involved in the Coronation Committee since Class Officers cannot commit to attending to the responsibilities of Coronation. The ASB team should manage Coronation.
Alyssa Jones: We want more new students in the Leadership program, so adding a one year of experience in Leadership to the Historian position decreasing the number of entry level positions we will have available to our student body. The entire ASB team should be in charge of Coronation.
Evan Johnson: We shouldn’t make more positions in Leadership require a year of experience in the program. We want more new people in our program.
I. CASL Allotment:
$2,500 to $3,000 to set aside for CASL trip for the 2020-2021 Leadership school year.
Motioned to approve by Carmen Simon and seconded to approve by Jacob Curless.
Flag Case Allotment:
Will purchase triangle flag display case for the flag gift from Josh.
$200 to set aside for flag case.
Will be making a plaque separately.
Gianna Brochinni motions to approve and Laila Irigoyen seconds to approve.
01/14/20: Discussion - Position Absorption and Removal for 2020-2021 Leadership Year:
Morty: Black Light Rally and senior nights should go to Athletic Commissioners.
Kate Villegas: Coronation Coordinator should go to ASB Administrative Coordinator. Historian should assist Technology Commissioners in filming and taking photos for their projects.
Gracie Jaime: Coronation should go to ASB since they already are required to have a year of experience and we wouldn’t have to add that requirement to the Historian position.
Gianna Brocchini: Historian should take up Club Committee Chair’s responsibilities and ASB Administrative Coordinator should be Responsible for Coronation.
Ana Perez: ASB Administrative Coordinator has all the knowledge to be able to do the job well for Coronation (paperwork knowledge). ASB Board Member position has a big focus on communicating and should take up the Club Committee Chair’s responsibilities. These new responsibilities coincide with their original job descriptions.
Natalie Betoshana: Historian should help out the Technology Commissioners; this should be an added responsibility to their job description. ASB Board Member should absorb Club Committee Chair’s responsibilities. Administrative Coordinator should manage Coronation. From personal experience ASB does not have enough responsibilities.
Gianna Welsh: Coronation should either be kept for the position of Coronation Coordinator, it should be managed by a committee like previous years because Niki has done training for 3 years to prepare to manage Coronation.
Voting for Position Absorption and Removal for 2020-2021 Leadership Year:
Club Committee Chair to be absorbed by another position: 34 in favor and 0 abstain.
The Black Light Rally and Senior Nights to be absorbed by Athletics Commissioners: 34 in favor and 0 abstain.

Club Committee Chair is absorbed by Historian: 11 in favor and 0 abstain.
Historian will assist the Technology Commissioners throughout their projects: 20 in favor, 11 not in favor, and 3 abstain.
Public Relations Commissioners, Spirit Commissioners, Historian, and Technology Commissioners will automatically assist the ASB Administrative Coordinator in the Coronation Committee. No class officer can be on the committee because they cannot dedicate to Coronation throughout their Homecoming responsibilities: 28 in favor, 4 not in favor, and 2 abstain.
